Delays! Recommend me one!
I've collected a bunch of nice pedals to make myself a nice wee pedalboard. Have a tuner, wah, a couple of nice overdrives and a EQD Dispatch Master doing some lovely verb with a touch of delay, but I want a dedicated delay to take care of that properly with the aim of making some nice ambient/backround music (my AX8 does everything else well that is straight forward enough).
I haven't even looked at pedals for the last 5 or so years; whats the go these days? Get a Timeline and be done with it?
I'm really close to pulling the trigger on a Meris polymoon, (that looks so frikken sick) but I want to be well informed before I commit a good chunk of money.. The new Walrus D1 looks the biz too.
I don;t particularly need midi or too many presets, if any, I just like the simplicity of turning knobs and getting a result.
What do you guys reckon?

I have a SDD3000, absolutely gorgeous echoes and preamp... snag one if you find it.
But there's so many good options these days.

I hope you're not going to procrastinate.
Good name for a delay, The Procrastinator.

So much to choose from.. really don't think I could go far wrong with most of the options available. I definitely know the Timeline well and I liked the fact it had a looper. So expensive to get one brand new though.

Re: Delays! Recommend me one!
Timeline is a good ambient delay and if you know it already it’s easy to use. I now have a GFI Specular Tempus and the stereo field/width and the way the dotted 8 delay comes through is defiantly superior to the timeline. Quarter note tape delay might be better on the timeline though. I miss the looper in the timeline though, it was awesome and so easy to use!

Best delay I ever had was the Strymon Volante. Amazing pedal and easier to work than it looks (if I can do it anybody can)
Carbon Copy always seem to be popular. Currently I have a Deluxe Memory Man, great too. So many options with probably not that many being shit nowadays
