Looks great. Like really great. Only downside is that it looks like to move to the next ‘pedalboard’ you have to triple tap a foot switch. That is going to be a right pain in the ass in the middle of a live gig. SO you will need a midi switch to make it usable

I have a pedal with Toneprint. Over the first month I eagerly sampled prints.
And then never gave it another thought.
Does anyone else find the toneprint website really difficult to hear samples?

It's more a way of working that I'm used to than a full on need to switch a million pedals.

I have my Nova System set up with three presets

1) Clean-ish with spring reverb
2) Dirty-ish
3) Lead

but each one has different effects linked to it. The Clean-ish patch has detune, tremolo, analog delay which I can add in on or take away. The Dirtyish has detune, fake rotary, tape delay. Lead patch has phaser, digital ducking delay and a octaver.

So to recreate the same thing with this new TC pedal, I would need to switch between 3 pedalboards somehow

ah i see-but im sure you'd be able to swap behaviours somehow.Like how you can reconfigre what the mash button does or the knob functions/ranges.Plus you have external loops which can be footswitch controlled as well.Sometimes with these types of units the functionality is as important as sound quality,esp if you have a setup that works and is familiar.

yeah, i'm sure i could work something out. Anyway, I'm going to check this out. I really like my TC Nova system, but it's a pretty old now and I'm slightly concerned that it will die on me one day.

Honestly I'm pretty excited about this. When I look at my board at the moment, I could quite comfortably replace most of it outside of the dirt pedals with TC alternatives with no regrets. And the insert loop seems like it would happily accommodate my current chain, and would make it easier to mess around with ordering + add a few things. Count me in.

I can't see the point of releasing an all-in-one pedal like this - but having no drives. I know we all have our favourites - but surely TC could have had a go?

Am I reading that wrong?
