That's a cracking amp!
I thought I'd check it out and got twenty seconds into this demo before I heard the most horrible, fizzy, mushy-bass tone.... Am I missing something?
Pass. I never watch any demo videos/clips for amps, only videos I sometimes watch are if I have a 'more-than-3-knobs' effect I need to navigate (like my Boss MD-500)

Yeah, but I'm after a combo this time round. TBH I'm as not overly keen on the metal casing on the Victory's, realise that it's purely aesthetic but I guess looks matter somewhat

There's article on musicradar.com about best blues guitarists and Chris Buck is one. Never heard him before but I really liked the tone he got with a strat and Victory amp.

Yeah, I thought his new album was really good - search for Buck & Evans on Spotify. Don't know what it's called when you slide really quickly from fret to fret, but Chris seems to do this ALL the time and that's one thing that gets a little grating to me

For me he's like Matt Schofield. Amazing guitarist and I love his tone and style but I just can't listen to them in big doses

The guy behind Victory amps is the guy that built Cornford, my Dad has one of the early MkI 50w heads and it's one of the best heads I've played through

Richie Kotzen was using Cornford back in the day, explains why he's with Victory
