GE-7 x 5 (most useful pedal EVER)

Hey Matt, would Boss ever consider making a "GE-500"? basically take the MXR-180 full 10 band eq+vol+gain and put it in the new chasis with presets and midi. Would be more user friendly than the GE-20.

That would be the Ta-Tas and i'd buy one in a heart beat. The most useful pedal made more useful?

It's hard to know what is being cooked up in the R&D department at any given time - but I'd be very doubtful. The GE-20 sold very poorly and there is likely little motivation to develop a new multi-format EQ. Who knows though. Stranger things have happened....

I reckon a new compact sized EQ with MIDI presets would be pretty awesome.
Not quite a GE-500 but close enough

Hahaha, yes I actually remembered this conversation the other day. I was so super excited when I eventually saw the design brief for the EQ-200....as it's pretty much exactly what you wanted.

We have a pre-production version in the office at the moment and it's amazing. Best EQ pedal ever made, IMHO.

I better put my money where my quote is then? I'll actually take the smaller form factor as well, even if they didn't fit the standard midi sockets.

Synth sounds are one of the things the helix doesn't do that well (I mean, you can recreate them with a combo of fuzz/dirt, chorus, pitch, and verb etc pretty easily but still), so popping one of these in a loop is tempting!!

NZ will have SY-1 very shortly...if not already.

RC-10R is a little production-delayed. Due September at this stage.
