I could see some really creative uses for this in post rock / ambient music!

Was reading about the new Universal Audio amp modelling pedals. Was more impressed by the '65 DR version in the latest (sponsored) Rhett Shuull video (deliberate misspelling to demonstrate my lack of caring towards him).

Really interested to hear how they integrate into an effects loop. Basically, you run a modified four-cable method and the pedal allows you to select between your amp's preamp section or the pedals' modelling section. So you could go from Marshall to Blackface in the stomp of a foot. Kinda defeats the purpose of modelling being a light, portable gigging option, but interesting concept.

Cheap Timmy clone, some more info from the comments:
This Donner pedal is identical to the Caline Stack Attack CP-508... which is a Timmy clone... meaning this "Dumbal" is a Timmy clone. Also, quote from DonnerDirect: "It's a reproduction of the *Timmy Overdrive." (Yes, the consensus used to be that Caline's Pure Sky CP-12 was a Timmy clone. We all thought that at first. Turns out the Pure Sky is a Vemuram Jan Ray clone (the irony!), which is why it doesn't quite sound like a Timmy.) Anyhow, Caline does make a Dumble pedal, the Enchanted Tone Highly Prized Overdrive CP-511.

There goes the secondhand value of a bunch of strymon pedals... they've released a new version with MIDI control of the Dig, Deco, Lex, El Capistan, Flint, and BlueSky.

I hope they make the slower speed change for the trem on the flint available for the old pedals too, I'd be really keen for that!

Interesting changes... Especially to the Blue Sky. I was always a fan of the Brig delay, which missed out on the upgrade... Midi control would have been cool with that too :)

I can think of precisely zero times when I wished my Flint had MIDI.
