Xvive cloned the famous and rare panasonic mn3005 bbds, and have been selling them. I have a pair, and a pcb to build a DMM clone sitting neglected in a parts drawer. This is cool, look forward to hear how it goes

Im sure it will be great! Enjoy

A decade ago, (?) when I was building pedals semi-regularly, the DMM was considered a rite of passage for the DIYer. Ebay was flooded with fake MN3005s, the real ones had been out of production a long time. Genuine chips were horrendously expensive. By the time I finish my build, it will have been cheaper to get one of these little guys

Its all about the journey man! One of my earliest delay pedals I owned since joining the forum was an EHX Memory Toy, back when they were first out and very cheap, I later got a DMM 550 TT and thats another on the list of sold regrets... but you know you're chasing other things and easy come, easy go...

I had a cheat sheet of about 50 different settings. I would never of been able to find the sounds in the list just by tweaking the knobs. It's actually quite complex to use, and has a vast array of sounds.

Mmm it could kinda do with expression control on some of the controls, I guess thats why Matt Bellamy has it installed in some guitars and has knobs he can twiddle to get those crazy sounds he makes with it :mental:
