Re: Pedals Of Epicness
So I picked up a Boss FV-30L compact volume pedal yesterday, was feeling the need for volume swells in my life again, and back when I was in a post rock band and needing one I imported an Ernie Ball VP JR which was JHS modded with a buffer and I ran this after my dirt pedals so gain structure was not affected, but swells were glorious with this!
But this time round it seems like only passive pedals are available locally, and I wrongly assumed I'd need a high impedance one as thats what you get for guitar right? well... turns out after a bit of research that if you're putting it right after a guitar with passive pickups then that would indeed be the best option, but if you're putting it after active pickups or buffered pedals then you want a low impedance one or you may get some tone suck....
So I got the L (low impedance) version and am loving the size and feel of it, the L ones have a dual gang 25k pot as they have two inputs and outputs so you can do all sorts of cool things with two loops of pedals or whatever... you could possibly even use one of the outputs as an expression pedal if your pedal takes a TS expression.... A+++ would trade again.

Put my caverns on the pedalboard. Didn't play it or even power it up - I'm still eligible for the challenge.
JB is completely disqualified.

Couldn't bear to watch more than a few minutes of this episode. It was just noise, to my ears.
And that's coming from a huge TPS fan.

Those look gross and old. You should send them to me, I am willing to dispose of those nasty things.
