Re: Pedals Of Epicness
One of the pedals I lusted after when I first got started, back before 4ms and WMD chose to focus on synths. I've got a DIY swash permanently stuck in oscillation mode. It's probably going to work its way back into a tabletop noise setup.

For all the shit Strymon get, I haven't heard better plate/hall/choral reverbs than what these guys make.

$699 usd!
That’s taking the piss now. $1200-1500 NZD
I mean, I like reverb and I get they’d need to put two chops in there to get true spillover (a la Ventris) but that’s eye watering.

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
Picked up another expression pedal while in Japan, Boss EV30, $229 here in NZ, cost about $115 brand new in Japan... Boss stuff there was generally 45-55% of retail here...

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
I'm kinda tired of the characterisation of women as killjoys of men's hobbies, if I'm honest. Saw an ad for a bike today that said something like "don't let your wife see you looking at me." Please.

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
Its certainly a trope, but for plenty of men its actually a thing, women tend to not have hobbies or seek the type of connection that men do thru their hobbies and clubs, and this creates friction, on a semi related theme you should listen to the Louis Theroux podcast with Germaine Greer, she has a bit to say on this subject.

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
The real issue here is the setting of unrealistic expectations. There’s no way someone that hot is going anywhere near someone that “collects” an SF300.jeremyb wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 9:18 pmIts certainly a trope, but for plenty of men its actually a thing, women tend to not have hobbies or seek the type of connection that men do thru their hobbies and clubs, and this creates friction, on a semi related theme you should listen to the Louis Theroux podcast with Germaine Greer, she has a bit to say on this subject.
