Found it... https://www.chasebliss.com/brothers-am. At 399 USD it's more expensive than my real KoT.

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
Hmm... depends where you place the "worth" of a KoT. I did an A/B against someone's clone. Geez... can't remember if it was MikeC or Jay. Too damn close IMO. If you place worth purely in "tone", then perhaps no.TmcB wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 9:01 pmDid you find your real KoT worth the gold? It's a great sounding pedal if you're into the bluesbreaker kind of tone, plus resale value is extremely high!TmcB wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 9:01 pmDid you find your real KoT worth the gold? I wonder why he didn't talk about the analog man connection?

Yeah I'd be interested to know what Mike did on this, it sounds bloody great to my ears, that first bit where he plays the LP into the Tweed amp, phwoarrrrr!

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
If I'm spending thousands on guitars and amps, it's a relatively small expense in the grand scheme of things. Whether you could get the same sound from a cheaper option is obviously a valid question. Personally I think the answer is usually "yes", but I haven't heard a Klone that sounds a good as the Halcyon Gold, or anything that gives a bright edge-of-breakup feel like a Benson Preamp. So in my mind they're money well spent.

Re: Pedals Of Epicness
I think price and value are two distinct things, and quality is something you remember well after the pain of purchase has passed
