Another lap steel. Number three. Like I need another one. A Guyatone from the 60s for 200 bucks, with a hard case. I was intrigued by the gold foil pickups.
The chap sent it before I had a chance to transfer the cash! Pretty trustworthy!

I do. A lovely instrument. Have used it heaps, although I'm still just a tourist on it if I'm honest.
You can hear it here:

This is from an EP I recorded for a friend of mine over two nights in the basement of a piano shop. You'll have to excuse the quality of the recording. It peaks in a few places. I was very limited with equipment, and it was a super lively room.
I overdubbed the lap steel.
Edit: the new one literally just arrived. Haven't had a chance to test it bar tuning it up and plugging it in, but at 200 bucks, I'd say I got a bit of a good deal here. It's immaculate, all controls and pickups are working nice and it came with a hard case and a bar.

BlackMagic ATEM video switching/livestreaming device thing for entertaining myself and possibly assisting comminuty meetings over the next few weeks.
Splattoon2 for the boys to play on the nintendo, they are bored of all their games
reconed Fender alnico speaker for the Pro Junior for a slightly more tweedy sound

Well, I'd kind of lost hope that I'd ever get the guitar neck I'd ordered from the States for my Strat build. For the last week, it USPS have updated me to say that it has "arrived" at LAX, but it kept getting stuck on the carousel. Anyway, it went quiet for a couple of days and apparently it's in Auckland!
I half expect customs to burn it, but fingers crossed it gets here...

I ordered a Custom Shop 69 pickup from Ebay on 15/3. I just received the following USPS tracking update:- "Your item departed a transfer airport in INTERNATIONAL, AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND on March 27, 2020 at 9:06 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.". Looks like I'm gonna get it!
