“No one could touch his guitar” is something I read re: how he had it set up.
Suspect he had stupid heavy strings on it and all. Sounded like a cool guy.

Have only spent an hour with it but I have already managed to create a Chorus/Rotary patch that sounds rather Rothery
Decided on this in lieu of the Helix HX, reason being it's only really modulation effects I'm wanting. This seemed just the job, big thanks to
NZRS-Dave and the guys that served me today at Hornby NZRS

I see it has a 'ring mod'. Is that for the brown tone?
In other news. Looks like I've bought a mid-70s, alder body CBS, hard-tail Strat. It's too much to ask a chap to go a whole year without having a Strat to hand. I was going to focus on getting something that doesn't overlap with my existing gear but that idea didn't last long. Strats is best.
Of all the gear I've seen for sale in the UK CBS Strats seem to be the only ones with prices comparable to NZ. Guess they remain as unpopular as ever.

I have a serious lack of motivation right now. I'll walk into the 'guitar wardrobe', sit down for a mo, which guitar shall I play, ah, too hot, may as well have a summer ale.
Though I did manage to fit the TV Jones dynasonics to my Gretsch copy. Sounds phecking amazing, so I did sit down for 10 minutes today.
