codedog wrote: Fri May 28, 2021 3:39 pm Look around for Göldo G5 too. Basically, Göldo is the parent company that builds those trems. They supply Duesenberg with those trems that have the right branding, and some minor styling elements. They also sell Göldo ones that are unbranded, and may not have some of the art deco styling. I think the trem arm tips are just plain cylindrical things, without the "steps" that make them look art deco-ish. No "D" of Duesenberg either. Other than that, they're identical. I think I have seen them on Ebay too.
Thanks found them. :) seems i can get them for a about $220nzd.

Ah so would your mate/bandmate be Mike Cheer then? He sounds like someone I could enjoy a beer with, perhaps a can of Gunpowder Bock, and waffle on about brewing and metal, two of my favourite subjects!

I was actually reading about that beer today, I'm a Beer Jerk customer and got an email about it, already thought it was cool.

Now it's extra cool!
he is indeed, been mates for a while now and he's played in a few bands with me over the years.he's currently playing bass for IDIOT BEAST, the peavey themed band. he's a top dude and more than likely you'll run into him at some beer launch at some stage heh!

Grant's Strat just landed. Fantastic, bloody massive neck. The colour is great in the flesh, and the finish puts my efforts to shame. Definitely won't be painting it.

Supposed to be fitting the new kitchen sink but, naaaaaa....

Well, if you want to help me fit the sink, I'm always glad of the assistance.

If I do come to sell the Strat you have dibs.

No, you don't paint over timber with this quality of figure, I have some much plainer stuff if I was going down that route

It was a reference to the 50s Goldtops painted over stunning maple.
