Yeah, I think this is genuinely market value for Virgil Arlo pickups. I'm not gonna be paying it, that's for sure.StratMatt wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 11:53 amWhat the!robthemac wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 9:19 am Also, the seller gave me his contact details and strongly implied that he's happy to make deals outside of Reverb. Have been tempted to get one of those, but no external switching has put me off.

I'm also keen for the Diezel VH4-2. That one has remote switching.

Andertons emailed, its been delayed, they now expect it sometime in December - bloody hell its killing me waiting this long, I almost bought a Greg Koch Tele with the money instead but managed to resist.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

I keep hearing about how legendary Andertons' shipping to NZ can be. Fingers crossed you can have it for Xmas!sizzlingbadger wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 2:06 pmAndertons emailed, its been delayed, they now expect it sometime in December - bloody hell its killing me waiting this long, I almost bought a Greg Koch Tele with the money instead but managed to resist.

The Blackguard Book on the way. Tracking says it's left Spain and stuck in Louisville, KY.....
Edit: Imgur link not working. Is there an easier way to upload photos?
Anyway, this is the book: https://reverb.com/item/26319092-the-bl ... acho-banos
Managed to get one of the last ones from the Author.

I convinced my wife to buy me this for Christmas, she pressed go on Friday night, Monday morning it is in NZ clearing customs. So for those of you above wondering about Anderton's shipping... For me it has been consistently faster than buying local.

Did Antertons charge you gst? Looking at something on their site and it seems to add vat back on as their vat is the same as our vat atm..

No GST is charged. (Though I am surprised, I alone have put a wee dent in the $60k threshold). It is not until you get to checkout with an NZ address entered that it removes the GST.
(pretty sure their VAT is still 20%, it was only certain hospitality and food sectors that were reduced. I just checked something in their cart and it took a 20% VAT amount off)

I think it was either the website going nuts or something on my end causing issues as it changed when i looked at it again now at home. Wasnt pulling 20% for me though.HackSaw wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 4:02 pm No GST is charged. (Though I am surprised, I alone have put a wee dent in the $60k threshold). Does hitting refresh on my R9 tracking every thirty seconds constitute obsessional behaviour?
