No. Still waiting for Flint Mk2.codedog wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 1:39 pmI assume you've tried a few? I didn't realise they do this... not sure if the Flint does this at all. I haven't even tried ducking on the AX8 or Kemper.Molly wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 12:16 pmDoes it have ducking on the trem? I'll buy the first trem pedal that does a good job of this.RectifiedAmps wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 10:57 pm
The Keeley Hydra finally arrived on monday! Went from no tracking update for a month to ‘arrived’, ‘forwarded’ and ‘delivered’ in under 24hrs. Haven’t had much time to mess with it but loving it so far.

Neither of those headphones are neutral. They're both bass boosted, and the DT770 have a lift in the treble as well. So something that sounds well balanced when mixing with the headphones won't sound well balanced when listening with neutral speakers or headphones.NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 2:37 pmHow do you mean? I'd record my tracks, then mix and master from there. That does involve eq, panning, compression, reverb, fading etc. The problem is the translation from source to source.

MXR does ducking but not in the way you want Brian

Indeed. That's why I bought the monitors. I'll still use the headphones of course but it's frustrating not having a better reference point to begin with.robthemac wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 3:08 pmNeither of those headphones are neutral. In what way? It seems, if I understand correctly, in AX8, the effect increases with input signal, i.e. harder pick/strum.

Decreases on the Kemper. Guess it could do either.

There's are some good, relatively neutral headphones for mixing. But monitors also work, obviously!NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 3:47 pmIndeed. That's why I bought the monitors. Yeah the sennheiser hd650, or bd dt880s will do the job but for the same price you can have some kickass monitors that can grow with you, so I did that.

Ordered amp stuff from Mouser on 26/7. Got here from the USA this morning.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Monitors arrived from UK today (a pair of Adam Audio T5V). 4 days DHL shipping to my door. That's rather amazing.

Got them from Gear4Music in Leeds. Worked out around $540 landed. Cheapest I could find here was $820 shipped.codedog wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 4:47 pmYeah, I'm keen too... and, where did you buy these ones?olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 4:30 pmNice, keen to know what you think of them, I'm after a pair of monitors.NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 3:40 pm Monitors arrived from UK today (a pair of Adam Audio T5V). 4 days DHL shipping to my door. I'm still waiting on the cables but will see how we go. I was looking at rokit g5 but they tend to be quite hyped in the bass.
