I think for me half the fun seems to be in the chase. Maybe now I’m married it’s shifted from women to guitars/pedals/amps

Did you have constant disappointment with women too? Maybe you need to find some gear that's marrying materialMini Forklift Ⓥ wrote:I think for me half the fun seems to be in the chase. Maybe now I’m married it’s shifted from women to guitars/pedals/amps

Until I met the wife, um yeah a bit. Good fun working my way through as many countries of the world though, one of the perks of working on a cruise linerjeremyb wrote:Did you have constant disappointment with women too? Got a Radial acoustic preamp thing on the way. We're doing an acoustic set in the band and I needed something with a boost function. It's got a FX loop too which could be cool.

That green is awesome. 7-1/4 radius good too. Let us know how that neck goes, haven’t held let alone played a v neck since I was about 12.

Yeah I'm facinated to see how it feels. My 87 strat had vintage antiquity Seymour duncans in there, but a 'full vintage' spec guitar should be really fun and interesting to play. Well for me anyway, as an ignorant metal dude haha.

Few more Evidence Audio SIS cables (can’t turn back now), JHS Prestige turned up today, and another Gigrig Isolater for isolated power for my little acoustic board. Only have a tuner, clean boost and AB/Y splitter but was getting a frustrating hum problem, so looking forward to eliminating that

One here. Waaaaaay more than I'd pay for one, but I guess it works!rickenbackerkid wrote:chur wrote:An old Boss ME-5 effects board is now on route. Just for shits n giggles as I have fond memories of them from about 20 years ago, and one came up at the right price and time.
dibs if you'd ever like to move it on. I've always wanted to try one of those.

well this arrived yesterday, from Germany straight to my doorstep, no dramas with customs. Saved a couple of grands instead of buying locally, the most the manager could do was knock off a hand shandy from the retail lol
