Yeah, I'm going down the route of splicing wires in the pickups cavity, leaving the rest of wiring and electronics well alone.
Find some neat, wee plugs and attach them to the wires such that you can quickly swap and change. That'd be my approach.
I thought about that but didn't know what types of connector would be good for this purpose

I just had a quick look on Jaycar but couldn't see anything. Maybe a hi-fi connector of some sort.

It seems molex connectors will do the trick for me.

Here is a thread by Bender who goes into a bit of detail... He was quite satisfied with it iirc.

Just hit the button. Have a couple of amps I'm looking forward to crank with this.
Price seemed reasonable for $130 boxed as new.

After 12 months (website said 7 at the time) on the wait list I'm up for a Snouse Black Box. Current wait times are 22-24 months!

Still about 2 years to go for a KoT!
Loving it so far

I don't hate myself enough to be on a 2x 2 year waitlist for two of the same thing :mental:

Nothing too exciting but I beat Denche to a as-new Fender tweed case by $1.

I have a Celestion G10 Greenback and a Keeley Hydra on the way:

The Keeley has been touted as a 'Flint Killer' - not sure I believe that, but it's $150 cheaper so more within my budget.

Keeping with my 'one-in one-out' policy, this means I'll have to sell off an Eminence RF10C and a TC Electronic HoF2...
