If it is Highbrook do not stress out too much. That place is some sort of world of its own.
Anything that I have had go through there or has been delayed has that place attached to it.
Best call is to ring not email. Always seems to get things moving a tad quicker
Highbrook might just be the biggest open plan building in the Country. Put something on the floor and you could take a week to find it.
Pop down and tell them to sort it out would you...

Sounds like my kid's room, apart from the "big" part.

Dunno, sounds kinda unfulfilling.

335 tracking says 'Handed Over' so it should be here this morning. I've already been down to the local sorting office (a shed out the back of the former Post Shop), in my dressing gown but it was too late. I'll just have to wait. Or drive around town looking for the van. Or just fucking wait...

Edit: Couldn't wait. Went back down and managed to get it. Now to sneak it in to the rest of the guitars in the lounge and see if the Mrs notices.

Old Timer "1959 PAF" pickups from Alegree Pickups in the UK... Alnico 3 pickups, crazy cheap price. At that price it's worth just checking out what Alnico 3 is all about.

Indeed! Nothing wrong with the pickups now, this is just pure tinkering and curiosity.

Yeah, I'm going down the route of splicing wires in the pickups cavity, leaving the rest of wiring and electronics well alone.

Find some neat, wee plugs and attach them to the wires such that you can quickly swap and change. That'd be my approach.

Its easier than you think, when I did it on the gretsch I had I put clear flexible tubing on the pots and fed it thru and out the pickup cavities so I could wire it all outside the body and then you could pull them back thru with the tubing, easy as!
Cause I’m bigger than my body gives me credit for…
