Ash body, made by Adrian from Ash Guitars.
Nitro finish by me.
Allparts neck - inch thick.
Hardware is Gotto tuners, Wilson bridge.
Pickups - Semor Duncan anico 'lipstick' and a GFS stacked humbucker is now in the bridge.
Forgot how shiny it looked when I finished it. It's seen some use since then.
Difference is an accident of birth and it should therefore never be the source of hatred or conflict

Jansens can be such spectacularly underrated amps.crowbgood1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 4:40 pm It's arrived!
My goodness this amp is so nice. The tremolo is absolutely gorgeous

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

The depth and warmth of the tremolo leaves my 6/40 for dead.Slowy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 6:28 pmJansens can be such spectacularly underrated amps.crowbgood1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 4:40 pm It's arrived!

Take note of the valve doing the wobble. In my Harmony amp, the glass makes a huge difference.crowbgood1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 6:31 pmThe depth and warmth of the tremolo leaves my 6/40 for dead.Slowy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 6:28 pmJansens can be such spectacularly underrated amps.crowbgood1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 4:40 pm It's arrived!

It does, only one valve in my vibrolux does the job, everything else I’ve tried is not the same. Fucked if it ever blowsSlowy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 6:38 pmTake note of the valve doing the wobble. I just checked the schematics - the 6/20 and 6/40 both utilise identical bias wiggle for the tremolo (similar to a Princeton Reverb). So the bias adjustment on the power tubes can really effect the tremolo depth.Slowy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 6:38 pmTake note of the valve doing the wobble. Without a banana for scale, this could be recognized as a fancy transistor radio

I suspect those sockets are for 1/4" jacks? You should be able to interpolate those to bananas, and get a feel of the size of this whole thing.

Amazon AU took over a week to not send me the spark despite saying they had stock… so ordered from the US instead, shipped the same day…

Apparently very loud! The GK 250ml was amp for the guitars on Irons Maidens Somewhere in Time album.
They seem to have a cult following.
