Maybe some individual G strings since you probably won't be able to get a whole set for $20?
Perhaps you should opt in for those Rocksure warranties that the staff keeps yammering on about for items up to $200

Hotone Ampero in pink…. Wanted some multi effects with amp modelling and this ticked a lot of boxes at half the price of the HX Stomp I initially wanted.

I bought an Ebow Plus... again. Bought it new back from Sweetwater in 2012 for $99 USD, sold it on Trade me for $100 NZD a year later and bought a different newer one today from Trade me for $115 NZD.

In the long run... I didn't really lose that much money!

I miss my ebow plus, it was weird though whenever I tried to use it at gigs I would get terrible feedback, was fine in our practice room though... urgh... I regrettably sold it years ago when I was no longer in the band and at some stage bought one of these: https://soundstone.co/ but its not as good as the real deal! :-(

I messaged my Dad last night and said I have bought this for him, think he was quite touched by the gesture. I owe him one from nearly three decades ago, he had one of the original 76/77 green font ones that I ended up ruining by me spilling a drink all over it. You can see it here on top of the god awful Carlsbro Stingray head that's lying on the floor :?

I should have it by tomorrow fingers crossed. From doing quite a bit of reading up online it's this late 70's Deluxe model that seems to be the best of the bunch, I'll take it with me when I visit the UK again next April so it will sit on my pedalboard until then. I'm already on the hunt for a suitable replacement and I don't even have it in my hands yet!

Ordered a wiring upgrade kit and a set of Mr Glyn's Integrity pickups to spruce up my Greg Bennett Royale 3. Got a reasonable quote from Ramsay Phillips for the install.
