I've been listening to Robin Trower a fair bit lately (especially Bridge of Sighs) and he's had me gassing big time for a univibe big. Have one incoming from Bignoise Amplification in Nelson. It was Warren's playing on the demo that tipped me over the edge. Sounds huge!!

Got one of those Stratacaster things just arrived at my place. Looks interesting. Three pickups, a tremy-bar thing, neck's screwed on. Looks pretty cool.

Here's a pic. Bit worn. Couldn't afford a new one.

I know a guy that works in a panel-beaters that can repaint it for you if you want. I think acid green would look awesome.

Although the wear is fake, it looks better than the real thing.

Happy repeat guitar day.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Fair enough. Then it must have been a temporal distortion; 50 years of sweat and boogie compressed into 48 hours.
It's plausible. I aged 10 years in 12 months.

Pah. I care not a jot. I've two '54 reissues. One has real wear. One has fake. They're still the same. The only difference is what folk infer. Doesn't change anything on a molecular level.

:-)
