"I love tubes but the practicality, reliability and versatility gets buried by the top modelers, especially for live players. I'm actually hoping it'll kill me amp gas!"... The next Tui's ad maybe

The slow build up of gas pressure is unrelenting...

I think my TSL100 just might've killed my amp GAS - for the moment at least. Between that and my Fender combo I'm quite happy.
Just boxed-up my /13 for its new owner. Was on TradeMe less than an hour. Just goes to show there's still love out there for quality, big-iron amps.

Aw yeah molly for sure. On stage I actually actually use my AA into effects return of my tube combo for my own monitoring while sending a separate signal to FOH.
I definitely need that thump on stage!

I just put the issue 20 board in mine and have quite a cool bias at just 45. It sounds bloody great. The crunch channel, with the gain pretty low, gets a really good Frusciante-ish tone. The lead channel gets the sort of lead tone he has on the likes of She's Only Eighteen, and the outro solo on C'mon Girl. I need a wah, mind... Got a mix of V30 and Greenback in the cab.

No. Well, not that I noticed. I actually ordered the new board before I'd even collected the amp. It was a cheap, easy upgrade and worth it for a bit of peace of mind.
I like that there's more than one loop and a master loop.
This guy gets some great tones.

pretty much me too I still love the thump from my svt
But having a stereo setup for everything else is just so much more, I find it so hard to go back to mono amp. Miss the amp in the room, miss the bogner, don't miss much else.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

I know what you mean... well, not so much pedals but a simple-ish small amp with glowing glass. I've always wanted a Laney L5 Studio...

Katana has done in mine, just don't need anything else. Except a tuner.

Katana has a built-in tuner.
