Magnatone Twilighter:

Went to see Big Thief last night and it was, without a doubt, the best guitar sound I've ever heard. Two cranked Magnatones is the sound of heaven.
Are you sayin’ there was two x stereo Twilighters or two x mono Twilighters or two guitarists, each using a Twilighter (stereo or mono?). just curious as I’ve long lusted for a pair too as I play wet/dry/wet.
I’m even thinking of building one to save the spendy of the cost of a proper one…

I’d love the stereo version of the Magnatone. But I’m not greedy, I only need 1.

One for each guitarist. This is a decent rundown (with info on their custom switcher based on Neil Young’s “whizzer”

Man, they don’t fug about with toy gear, do they!? I like that there’s a bluesbreaker with 4 x 10s involved. On one side of my current wet amps is a ‘68, BF super reverb loaded with GEC KT66s for a slight, English air. A 4 x 10 bluey has got to be the closest clone of a Fender tweed bassman that Jim built. Nice

You never see these come up. Shame the price is same as new, if not higher.

Oh boy. About $13000 more than I can afford, but this is about the perfect LP for me.

Or you could stretch a bit more and get something better than a Gibbons!

Unlined Fretless Stingray 5
Failing that a Tobias Growler Fretless 5 (which will be lined as unlined doesn’t exist)

But do you need to be a 200 pound, hairy, beer swilling gorilla with anchor chain for a guitar strap?
