That's a GAS inducing review for sure. $6k for an amp to rule them all.......robthemac wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 7:57 am This looks awesome. 12W single-ended combo with EQ, a bypassable tone-stack, spring reverb and built-in attenuation. You're paying handsomely for the privilege, of course.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I'd love to build something like that - just need a schematic!robthemac wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 7:57 am This looks awesome. 12W single-ended combo with EQ, a bypassable tone-stack, spring reverb and built-in attenuation. You're paying handsomely for the privilege, of course.

I'll fund the build when you find a schematic.MikeC wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 9:12 amI'd love to build something like that - just need a schematic!robthemac wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 7:57 am This looks awesome. 12W single-ended combo with EQ, a bypassable tone-stack, spring reverb and built-in attenuation. Friedman Buxom Betty. I have the plug-in but would love the real thing. It’s making me think I should revisit the tweed and brown era Fenders.

Re: What are you gassing for?
Well, like a complete moron I sold my Firebird pickups, then swapped my LP Special for a USA Tele, and now I’m gassing for a Firebird neck pickup in my Tele.
And also gassing for a Princeton. Which is sold about 2 years ago.
Why can I not buy and hold

Interesting to see those two little coils - I wonder what they are? Inductors maybe?

Inductors/chokes probably - they're up near the PT end. I could definitely make that board!
