You can't buy happiness but you can buy guitars which is kinda the same thing

Re: amps...

Tried a couple of the Voxes (Vox Cambridge 50, VoxVT50) and a Blackstar of some sort. They all sounded ok, except that I play baritone so there was something not quite there in the bottom end department, even with a 12" speaker.
I wanted to try the Orange Micro Terror next. Chris at the LH Rock Shop listened to my wish list and suggested I may actually be looking for a bass amp. That was perceptive because I always run through a bass cab simulation. So yep, still looking. Oh, and singer/soundguy in the band suggests that DI'ing is a lot less of a PITA from a mixing standpoint. There's that too, I guess.
"Vince, have you ever tried playing an expensive bass?" - Polarbear.
"And isn't that the finest acoustic bass guitar feedback solo you've ever heard?" - Billy Moose.

Anyone looked at the new Boss DM 101, analogue delay smorgasbord. Very pricey, but that’s why God have us two kidneys

Have watched a few videos, sounds like a good option for people who really want an analogue delay with lots of options.

Same. They've got a lefty Gibson there in wine red that's beautiful. Good price too (if it weren't for the shipping and associated fees) at around $2800 NZD.

They say they have dropped the shipping fees
