Well Damn! Now I have GAS also. That sounds wonderful to me. Are they for sale anywhere in NZ?

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I'm not a PRS hater, would happily buy their guitars... But does this sound any better than any modern Plexi-based amp?Slowy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 3:32 pmIt sounds just like my old JTM45.olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 3:13 pmWell Damn! Old as in "I had one and I stupidly sold it"? Or as in, "I still have one but I'm not let Oleg play on it?"Slowy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 3:32 pmIt sounds just like my old JTM45.olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 3:13 pmWell Damn! Yes, it sounds like a JTM. And it is not stupidly expensive.

Do you seriously believe I would hold out on you?olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 6:04 pmOld as in "I had one and I stupidly sold it"? Or as in, "I still have one but I'm not let Oleg play on it?"
Sold sadly but not stupidly. I've never missed that much power.
But the week of gigs where it finally got to clear its throat, I remember an amp that knew the sound in my head and just produced it from one control. For clean/Funk tones, mids off then wind on mids to fill everything up in an increasingly Marshally way.
Fabulous amp. Hopelessly loud.
And another Forum bike. Bg, Captain Black, Grantb are all former custodians as well.

Ah, I remember hearing that at a gearfest. Glorious. But yeah, way too loud. That PRS one is 20w, and with a master vol. I'm not helping myself here am I?Slowy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 7:42 pmDo you seriously believe I would hold out on you?olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 6:04 pmOld as in "I had one and I stupidly sold it"? Not really gassing for anything at the moment, but it's payday today and I'm due a nice bonus. If that goes through I'm sure I'll think of something...
