Any particular reason you want that Kemper setup, instead of the Stage version? Unless there's a particularly good secondhand deal, the Stage is often a cheaper entry into the KPA world.

I have an F35--which comes from the period after George moved back from Japan to Ireland, but before Avalon. It is bigger and bolder (tone-wise) and also Cedar topped. It is the most alive guitar I have ever played I think.

And when you said 'trade', this is what I was thinking of. I remember what I said to you when I met it, "This is the best guitar I have ever played."

And the time I dismissed it after 10 seconds? It was still better than mine and I didn't want to dwell on that.

I should just keep this one and sell then others I think...

I don't play in a band anymore, and haven't done since 2019. Otherwise I would go for the Stage. I just want to play and record at home. Whether that's the right choice or not, I'm not sure.

Just looking at the Stage; would that be awkward using headphones, draping over the unit? I've always found that irritating when playing keyboards with phones on.

My comment was purely around the cost, nothing about usability there. I can confirm it is a bit of a pain with headphones.

I recently listened to a recording a friend made at Roundhead Studio. He was playing a small old mahogany Martin that Neil Finn owns. It was truly one of the most beautiful sounds I have ever heard.

00-15M. Was expecting to prefer the 000-15M but this just stuck with me after trying a few things. I'm no good at describing tone but it's very warm without being muddy, full without being loud. More articulate than I'd expected really.

Quite a singular experience for me actually. I kept trying to pick up others but returning to this. Playing stuff that I'd forgotten I'd learned years ago, randomly picking through disconnected chords and hearing songs in there. Gave me the warm fuzzies.
