Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I am not sure if I'm more mad at the guitar or your use of a semi-colon.

The fact that I love something does not automatically mean I want it. Therefore, I stand by my use of the semi colon.

I refuse to accept "want" as an independent clause.

This is the GAS thread. Here, 'want' is a paragraph.

Though I might concede to its dependence.

I have previously owned a number of pointy guitars, I am well practiced at missing the points, as well as using them to encourage the vocalist to find his own space on the stage.

I'm falling down a bit of a rabbit-hole of smaller-bodied acoustic GAS. Budget is creeping up and something in the range of a Martin 000-15M/SM is starting to look do-able. Tough part is going to be getting an opportunity to try different things out. There don't seem to be a ton of options in stock at Christchurch stores, but I'm planning on doing a bit of a tour around town this weekend to see what I can play and compare.

If you can find an S model Lowden, you may never want anything else.

Will keep an eye out . I don't mind waiting a bit for the right thing to pop up, but would really prefer something I could play first, which is a bit limiting...

The Lowden's pushing your budget to another level. But I've played mine for at least an hour every day of lockdown and it never fails to make my life better.
Don't forget Larrivee, Seagull, Guild and Taylor either. Each different from Martin; not better or worse. And in that price range, Yamaha make some fine things.

What's your playing style?
