Given my preference for Teles, this is looking really interesting:

OK granted, it's a bit weird but look at it from my perspective:mr_sooty wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 5:27 pmHaha, yep exactly in that way.hamo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 1:35 pm"Interesting" in the way that I tell my kids their drawings are interesting maybe...Slowy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 10:29 am

I'm discovering a real liking for the sound of Jazzmaster pickups, but the guitar itself is a tad unweildy; I much prefer the feel of a Tele. So imagine my excitement when I first saw Fender's Tele-Jazz.
You made that for me?
It's been emotional.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Found a Freeze for a decent price. In 3-5 days I should have relief from my GAS.

Guessing it’s the one that spent lockdown with me. Fantastic guitar, definitely left me reconsidering the lack of anything fender shaped in the guitar cupboard.

You know I felt the same way when they made the tremolo version of the Reverend Double Agent. 'You made that for me?'Slowy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 5:56 pm

Re: What are you gassing for?
Further to my reverb gas, I just thought this video was very well done. I thought by getting the Boss RV-500 instead of a Big Sky would possibly be compromising a bit given then Big Sky's reputation as a top reverb pedal, and the price premium it commands. But I preferred the sound of the Boss reverb in pretty much every example in this video.
He plays both without telling you which is which. Thoughts?

It is worth exploring the Neunaber verbs too. The pedals are less complex, but the sounds are awesome, and very musical to my ears.StratMatt wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 10:38 pm Further to my reverb gas, I just thought this video was very well done. I didn't realise the Immerse now has a MkII. Gosh... the pedal rabbit hole sure is deep...olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 8:20 amIt is worth exploring the Neunaber verbs too. Re: What are you gassing for?
I watched some videos on the Nuenaber and they do sound really nice. I'm not sure if I'm totally on board with there being no mix knob, it's an effects level instead and can't go fully wet.olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 8:20 amIt is worth exploring the Neunaber verbs too. How is going with the tonemaster - still happy with it?sunburster wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 3:58 pmGood choice! I've had the Tonemaster Twin Reverb for a few months. Sounds and reacts just like the tube version (really), but half the weight, with a very useful built-in attenuator and no maintenance to worry about. A lot cheaper too. I love it and would never go back to the tube version. Nice solid pine cabinet too (the standard reissue tube Twin Reverb doesn't come in a pine cabinet, it's mdf).
I see that there is a tonemaster deluxe reverb on TM.
