Actually I do. But louder is more good and I'm not gifted at self restraint.

Right. I'm now officially in the market for a 1x10 cab.

Empty"s perfect but I wouldn't automatically reject any speaker unsuited for Metal.

What would you like? Specs wise... I've a little experience making them.

How about a Mesa (Eminence) Black Shadow 10"?
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

I've got a power station which is reactive load, which I think sounds better than passive load. It will also amplify, so Slowy might like the idea of the amp running lower volumes, and the power station providing the amplification (it'll amplify cleanly.) 😊

Probably a bit close to the Metal edge.

Hey Bruce, I've just ordered a 1 x 10 PR extension cabinet from a mate who builds a few cabs for me. It will be pine (ergo light), finger jointed, open back and all that good stuff. It will match the classic Fender PR combo cab (same dimensions, grill cloth and tolex).
I can potentially get another one made and you are welcome to check mine out in January some time.

I'd love to try it Ben, Thanks. :D
Cool. I’m about to be inundated with amps so any time you like.

I could bring it to the BKS gig on December 15 at the Riverhead if you like ;-)
