Without reading previous replies, what about that range of 30w tiny 'classic' heads that include Friedman, Bogner, Diezel, etc?

My Vox Cambridge 30 Reverb Twin. Mojo with dual 10" "blue" speakers, reverb, trem & not expensive! PM if you'd like to buy it as it's surplus for me.

I didn't know these existed. Any idea what they're like?

Yep I had the Friedman one for a bit, it was really cool but didn’t really have a lower gain sound, like the pedal it’s preamp it’s based off I guess. Sounded good for thick modded Marshall type tones. I think that little JCM800 clone you bought gearfest was probably better sounding and more versatile though.

Because of this thread, I might be about to meet Dayl whom it turns out, lives walking distance from me on the same road! I never knew.
This probably belongs in the Good Vibes thread.

I only learned of them through a local Facebook listing. That's where the photos came from. They're all for sale around £150. I was tempted but it would've been an impulse buy. I don't really need them.

They're exactly what I'll be searching Trademe for in 5 years when the buzz has worn off.Molly wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 6:30 pmI only learned of them through a local Facebook listing. Re: Don't Want Tube. Don't Want Modeller. Give me Solid State.
Sorry, been an insane week.
Slowy the legend hooked me up with this piece of art and I'm like a teenager again ......as I spend a bit of my time with my teenager trying different pedals and showing her how to put together a pedalboard.
Was great meeting and chatting with you Slowy! Thanks for everything mate, will definitely to catch up in future.
I'll probably get converted back to tube amps upon our next meeting by the sounds of things, but music and instrument cycles are fun to be stuck in.
Still really keen to try a Roland blues cube also. Almost pulled the trigger on an 80w Bandit but I've clocked so much time on those bad boys (teal stripe era) that I don't think I need to spend the cash on one atm.
This tube driver goes hard. It is worthy.

I did this a while back with Peavey, Randall, Vox and Orange. Was a cool trip.

Great pedal platform, legit in my opinion still the best clean tone of any amp we make (I prefer a bit of squish over the classic JC), and zero advanced editing functionality haha.
This is it. Loved the Katana but couldn't stop tweaking. Blues cube is a future purchase for sure.
