New Quilter Day

Post by StrummersOfThunder »

Pretty happy with this new arrival

Have been on the search for one for quite a while. Ideally I wanted the 202 but very happy all the same.
Amazed at the sound of these things.
So simple to use and surprisingly intuitive to use the EQ/voice/hi-cut to dial sounds in. I was worried Id miss the full EQ.
Best thing is it weighs next to nothing and takes up very little space and is loud as you'd ever need

I have a real hankering to mach it with the tone dock 15" that they make, but that'll be hard to come bye id say.

You could probably mount it in the cab in that pic pretty easily!

Why do you want to block your tone?
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

I have, your playing was incredibly tasteful, as was your tone. Apart from that it was terrible, though...

Awesome amp....congrats, mate.

How are you finding the EQ? I had the 101 and it took me a while to figure out the EQ on the amp (it's like a reverse pot).

I highly recommend the BlockDock (I have the 10" for the 101 Reverb and it's awesome.). There were a few in the country when Haywire was the importer, so keep an eye out.

It wouldn’t be all that hard to make a block dock style cab would it?

Yep I think I've sussed it . It's fairly intuitive I think.
I might be heading to Aussie next month and will see if I can grab a block dock there. I like the idea of the 15" for surf and I doubt there is one of those in the country

It should be straightforward. You just need these cutouts for the feet of the Quilter.
