I would get those old paper electrolytic's changed ASAP, especially the bias supply cap, and probably the diode in the bias supply too. You don't want that drifting around all over the place.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Check the bias :)
Danny checked it out for the original owner who wanted it left as stock as possible. He ran it full tilt for a couple of hours and the transformer mercifully didn't heat up beyond normal expectations.

Yep, Danny is going to rebuild the bias circuit - resistor diode and cap ( maintaining the original values ) and change whatever component is responsible for the flubby bottom end for something big and tight.
