Meatball on white, toasted with cheddar. Lettuce, onion, tomato and sweet chilli sauce. No salt or pepper, please

Wrong thread, soz. As for blackface speakers, highly recommend a 10" Jensen Alnico. Worth trying out anyhow

Between us we have far too many 12" speakers. We should just do trial and error.

My favourite was the Eminence GA-SC64, followed by the Celestion A-Type and Greenback.

Emi was the most legit sounding

I had rolled through all the usual Celestion suspects of Greenback, Creamback, and Gold and they were all too English for the voicing of the amp, too midrange heavy.

GA-SC64 had a little more mid push but still a distinctly American voiced speaker. With the DR it tightened the bass just enough to make sure that at higher volumes it still sounded sweet, and it had some good sparkle without being piercing.

It was the speaker I settled on with the DR I had, until I foolishly sold/swapped it.

Sounds ideal
I wonder how they differ from the standard emi offerings(legend etc,)

BG, what was that 12" of mine you put into a cab for whoever bought it off me? ( ) The one you had to re-colour to fix bleaching.
They're allegedly a great addition to a DR.

Was it some kind of EV?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
