NAD: Wizard MC2
I bought a 100w MC1 a few years ago and really liked it. Always fancied a MC2 since I'm quite curious about what the contour control does. Having a master volume on channel 1 sounds useful too.
These are made by AC/DC's long time (1990-2014) amp tech Rick St Pierre. It has a punchy articulation akin to Fryette, the massive 3D-ness of a SLO100, but it's unmistakably Marshall-based. It's got that "kerrang" of a good Marshall but without the harsh fizziness.
Got the chance to pick up this 2020 MC2 50 watter. Channel 1 is definitely a lot more usable than the MC1 with the addition of master and bright controls. Channel 2 sounds somewhat less raw to me than the MC1.
The loop level controls are quite useful for fine tuning the overall volume since the master volume is a bit touchy on the lower range (no loop on my MC1). The contour probably controls the amount of NFB and I only like it at the final 20% of its range so it didn't make as much difference as I thought it would.

Got some LEDs going on. Headfirst from Melbourne sells a clone PCB if you're interested.
