once agian i'm not convinced that this falls into the same effect as the volante in terms of 'true stereo ' panning in terms of devoted sends to left and right? Rob can probably explain this better.
Still it looks like a great pedal to start off with and ill likely flick kris a message
thanks :)
My older Alter Ego had a ping-pong effect, which alternated the repeats between hard left and hard right (i.e. mixed 100L 0R then 0L 100R). The Volante allows you to chose the left/right balance of each of the four tape heads. So one of my presets has the first head at 100L 0R, second head 70L 30R, third head 30L 70R, fourth head 0L 100R. That means the echos sweep across from left to right. It's a pretty unique effect that I haven't seen from another pedal.

Another vote for the Volante here. I wish I had another amp to use it for stereo!

I have a lot of pedals up for sale at the moment, but none of them is the Volante. It's not going anywhere anytime soon.Worth it for Sound On Sound alone...

When did the RRP go up to $799? I bought mine from Music Machine last year for $749 and that's what they were selling for in stores and online back then

Thinking I need another but knowing I don't

Dual stereo Volantes? Now that's a thought.

You'd best give it back or you may be struck off.
