Selector pedal for amp room
So I've fianmly gt round to setting up my guitar / am room
What I'm wondering about is a pedal so that I don't have to drag out , plug in and tilit each amp when I want to use it. just want to leave a single cab set up, and all my amps on a rack , plugged in through some sort of selector pedal that leads to the attenuator then onto the cabinet. All the ams plugged into a multi box etc.
Like an 8 input slector.
Anyone done this?

There might be something on there, maybe just as a starting point.

Ask Blackstratblues.
Warren looks like he may have a similar setup.

I don’t think the headlight does what you want with multiple amps to a single cab. I think it goes to 4 different amps. Their headbone goes from 2 heads to one cab, not sure what people use for multiple heads/amps to a single cab.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

Warren has exactly the thing you need, and I have no idea what it is called.

Not a pedal, but I use one of these for multiple heads into multiple cabs.

That looks like a studio tool for re-amping a signal.Conway wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:22 am Not a pedal, but I use one of these for multiple heads into multiple cabs.

Re: Selector pedal for amp room
Seems like it should be an easy thing ? Literally just a line select. Probably just make one from jaycar stuff using a rotary switch

Re: Selector pedal for amp room
I guess if you have a double pole rotary switch so you can switch both the input and output you could probably get away with doing thatStrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:31 am Seems like it should be an easy thing ? Re: Selector pedal for amp room
Wouldn't you need to ensure that every amp is seeing some impedance, regardless of where the switch is? Wouldn't want to have a bunch of them fired up for hours without any load on the output...StrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:31 am Seems like it should be an easy thing ? It’s just a passive switcher - up to 7 inputs get sent to one of 7 outputs.Slowy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:26 amThat looks like a studio tool for re-amping a signal.Conway wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:22 am Not a pedal, but I use one of these for multiple heads into multiple cabs.
