The cure for 5E3 loudness is to bring in big brother Bassman, relativity theory.

Hi all,
I have a ‘70 Princeton Silverface and a ‘66 BFPR. Both are super clean and glorious amps. Would consider selling the SF but would never part with the PR. Both have original transformers. Last two pics are off the eBay sale. Amp came from an estate of an elderly lady in Asheville, North Carolina who played in a rockabilly band. Apparently a ‘57 Strat was part of the estate.

As a fellow vintage PR owner, I suggest you carefully remove the factory speaker and try a Weber AlNiCo….
Yeah, looks great.

For the OP There’s a 65 reissue Princeton reverb reissue on Facebook in Tauranga for $2500. You could always try negotiate to your budget of $2300.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

Thanks. It was fitted with a Weber 10F150T prior to listing on eBay. Full service by what is now Heyday Music in Asheville, NC. https://www.heydaymusic.net/
They shipped the original Oxford as well. Think I purchased in 2013. Think it was early NZ$2K.
Both really are in great condition.

It's a non-Reverb I assume.
