Solid State 30w Soldano

Post by MiniForklift »

Would be able to ship it here from Andertons for less than $500, seems like it could be a worthy alternative to the Katana's of the world. So what do you reckon?..

Less than that. Β£249 so you can double that for NZD, but the tax/VAT comes off at checkout so probably gonna be more like $450 :)

Is there anyone that stocks Soldano in NZ?

I’ve got a UK Valvestate 40 when I’m feeling a bit silly, else the actual SLO through a reactive load does the trick ☺️

Looks cool, albeit seems more like a toy or man cave art piece than a Katana imo The power plug on the rear alone kinda puts me off vs a nice IEC plug.
No one ever died of hard work.. but why take the risk..

It’d be a cool home decor piece but don’t put too much hope into it. BAD has done a couple of these by now, people were losing their minds over the first Friedman one but the hype died down a bit after the Diezel/Bogner ones.
Amps:
Soldano SLO100 x2 | Wizard MC1 & MC2 | Diezel Herbert
Fryette Pittbull CL | Marshall 2203KK | Krank Rev 50 | Mesa Mark 2A

Rack stuff:
VHT/Fryette GP3, GP/DI & 2/90/2 | Peters FSM/Chimera
Verellen Meatsmoke | Synergy SYN1 | Mesa Studio

Its just buying a badge these days....
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
