Darn it. How am I going to retube all the amps in my Helix now?

Rhett Schull has a really interesting video on this issue.

Been thinking of selling my toob amp (Princeton) since I can’t see myself being able to use it at volume any time soon. Really happy with my little Roland — could probably quite happily go valve-free.

I have reasonable stock of JJ tubes (from Slovakia) but I suspect prices will go up next shipment, so for those with real proper amplifiers, now may be a good time to get some.

I went to put a TungSol in my Laney and realised I have none left
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Look at the back of your Sovtek Big Muff or Mig 50... does it say "Made in Russia"? Look, stop feeling guilty - let me take the guilt away from you. Infact, you won't even have to pay me for my selfless service - I'll pay you to take that heavy box of guilt off your hands, I mean how generous is that? I do my bit, y'know.
