Dunno about that, I wouldn't mind having Marshall crunch and Fender clean on one amp. :D

I haven't tried a Marshall but have owned several Fenders & I find the fenders too bright with 6L6 valves. 6V6's are great but the Rivera uses EL34's which gives them the Marshall crunch & a warmer Fender'ish sound.

@Conway I think I'm going to build a good old-fashioned 18W kit from GDS. I could order a couple?

Now I’m thinking about getting a matching cab, the 2x12 vertical one… but I’ll try my 3 cabs first. All have different speakers, so it will be interesting to see how they go.

People wanting Marshall crunch and Fender cleans are just missing the joy that is an AC10.
