If it helps I don't think they are that different. If you plugged them both into the same cab I would guess they do very similar things

After 20 years of joy I'm going to sell my 60's AC30 soon, such incredible amps. I agree with MattAnt plugging it into different cabs really brings out completely different incredible sounds.
