If your wife is letting this go in your living-room, you should let her choose the colour. Just sayin'

I'll save your mental energy. Roughly $3k extra for flamed maple finish.

Fair enough. Lot less that putting a much smaller amount of fancy wood on a Lester.Molly wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 9:51 pmChrist... Nice though.robthemac wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 9:12 pm I'll save your mental energy. Roughly $3k extra for flamed maple finish.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Idiotic finish for a gigging amp and idiotic amp for a lounge.
Shit I'm cranky tonight!

Yeah these are cool, didn't quite do it for me tonally though, a bit dark. Been a few years since I've played one.HackSaw wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 7:50 am I vote blue but cheaper...

I always associate Emerald Green with British amps, but that looks real purdy with the cane grill.
But I'm a sucker for anything surf green.
As always, go with your gut.

Nothing to see here.

Id go the green one if it were me, and I reckon the upcharge is such a small percentage of the purchase price that you might as well just add it to the bill. You know you will regret it if you dont.

Re: Help me choose a New Mesa Day
I came very close to ordering a blue one when they first came out (this was before I sold amps). Only thing that put me off was the lead time. That was pre-Covid, hate to think what it is now. The blonde ones are already in stock locally - that would be a big factor in my mind.

Get me that Imperial for the same price as the Mesa and we'll be talking...
