Pocket Kemper eh?

JohnG wrote: Fri Apr 16, 2021 10:54 am I've had a powered Kemper rack for about 4 years now and gigged with it ever since. For live use it's been a gamechanger for me...found 5 sounds I liked in the first week and that's all I use...no tweaking or mucking around programming...awesome! Use a Marshall 2x12 Cab for large venues, and a cheap 1x12 peavey cab for small ones. A Guitar Cab sounds great to my ears...XLR from back of Kemper to PA - soundguys love me :)
So you can disable the cab sim to your Marshall but keep it in place to the PA? Not that I have this problem (nothing but sheep to entertain where I live). But it'd make sense if that was possible.
Yep! I also love the fact that you can have your guitar Cab at any volume you like separate to the PA XLR feed. Sometimes I get to really crank the Cab at certain venues which is always the best :)

Ah... Alzheimer's maybe?
lack of search tech ;) its best to use advanced and search thread titles for anything like this.

I'd merge all 3 together but I can't really be arsed ;)
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Hmm. That was half-arsed on my part, sorry. When they didn't appear via my cursory search I just assumed they'd either been lost in a crash or it was all a dream...

I'd err on the side of the dream. So much of my life seems to be a bad dream nowadays I just assume that's how it is.

Yup, that's spendy for sure. Pretty sure mine cost less than that new... and it came with a carry bag too!

That's quite overpriced, Ben. You can import a new one for considerably less than that, even with tax.

yeah I know. I am tempted by one for covers gigs however, or some sort of direct amp anyway. Would be nice to carry less gear when playing for a pittance in the corner of a pub.

I remember replacing a guy in a band once. I had fancy-pants amps, rack gear and guitars. He had a fucking Westone and a POS Peavey combo. We were paid the same... :-(
