The buzzing doesn't happen at lower volumes, or at any volume when hooked up to an external cab. I'm guessing it's a valve that's rattling. Any ideas what I can do in the meantime?
The next question would be, who would be able to look at this for me in ChCh? Steve Bartlett is one, just curious if there are other options in ChCh too.

I had this once. Went round and tweaked every screw and made sure the valves were seated properly and luckily it went away. The fact it doesn't happen when hooked up externally would point to a loose screw or similar on the chassis.

Hah! Only thought of valves... will have a look see and make sure nothing loose around the inside.
