I can't see him selling at those prices. I mostly build Hi Fi Valve stuff now. Even have pre orders.

Musos are notoriously tight (read: poor) so good luck to him, they look very nice but prices, whhheeeeee...

For the more well-off ones that want to drop $5k on a tweed, there are more established options out there as well.

Sadly if you want to design original amps and manufacturer them in NZ you have to charge a comparatively high price to cover your costs and allow for a reasonable margin. Additionally, it is highly unlikely that you will sell enough of them to make any money over the long term if your factor in your operating costs.

I wish them all the best and would love to hear what they sound like.

Nice looking builds but serious money.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

I've met Tim, he is a thoroughly nice chap and his workmanship is outstanding. They're great amps.

So are the ones that Mike builds with BG's cabs.
