For that sort of money I'd want the Fonzie amp... I'll get me coat.

I can't see him selling at those prices. I mostly build Hi Fi Valve stuff now. Even have pre orders.

For the more well-off ones that want to drop $5k on a tweed, there are more established options out there as well.
Amps:
Soldano SLO100 x2 | Wizard MC1 & MC2 | Diezel Herbert
Fryette Pittbull CL | Marshall 2203KK | Krank Rev 50 | Mesa Mark 2A
Rack stuff:
VHT/Fryette GP3, GP/DI & 2/90/2 | Peters FSM/Chimera
Verellen Meatsmoke | Synergy SYN1 | Mesa Studio

Sadly if you want to design original amps and manufacturer them in NZ you have to charge a comparatively high price to cover your costs and allow for a reasonable margin. Additionally, it is highly unlikely that you will sell enough of them to make any money over the long term if your factor in your operating costs.
I wish them all the best and would love to hear what they sound like.

Nice looking builds but serious money.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

To be fair I'd rather have one of these than a PRS Mayer amp

I've met Tim, he is a thoroughly nice chap and his workmanship is outstanding. They're great amps.
So are the ones that Mike builds with BG's cabs.
