MPC tweed champ 10" speaker?

Post by chrisz »

Hi all,
I’ve got an MPC tweed champ 5w with a celestion super 8” speaker and I’m thinking to replace it with a 10” ... if it fits in this cabinet.
I was wondering if someone has an MPC champ – Princeton with 10” speaker (or any other tweed champ with 10") to tell me the dimensions of his cabinet. (internal preferably).
Cheers

I really love a Jensen 10" Alnico, if you can find one that will lift that amp to next level :) Theres something magical in them that I can't explain in terms of girth and mouth-feel. But with a fender tweed based amp, they come into their element.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

I think that you are correct - there are no labels on it, but the part number is listed in my 1994 Vibro King Service Manual.
This speaker is from a 1996 model.
