Thanks to a socially distant middle aged man meet up in a remuara drive way, I was reunited with my 62 tremolux cab which BG (rhymes with GC for a reason) had skilfully installed a 12' baffle to accomodate a jensen jet tornado stealth 100 neo.
1. Thanks BG , your work was awesome and all I had to do was ply you with enough savignon blanc to bring down a small rhino.
2. This amp has...on thorough testing tonight...and in combination with my pink Jazzmaster (not a euphemism) , 6g15 DIY reverb tank and a tiny touch of catlinbread formula 5f6 ...delivered what id have to say , to my ears the most pleasing surf sound Ive achieved to date.
3. The tremolo is epic
4. The amp, for all of its 50yrs agi, is in excellent shape and is all original.
5. Tho the smallest of the blond piggy back line up of death, it is punishingly loud...BUT can get to that elusive compression/edge of break up without an attenuator..which may not seem like a big deal BUT ive found that attenuators can eat up the most drippy pleasing register of the outboard reverb signal. so thats a real boon for me.
6. Did i say how nice the jensen sounds. Heaps of power/punch/grunt to the low end. Tonnes of sparkle and a very manageble mid range ...not onky at all. Growls well with the bridge pickup. AND its so light. The cab is ludicrously easy to move around and as the head is the smallest in the line up it only has a PT the size of hastings.
Can wait to do some playing and recording

I'd say you were in the sauv zone . Flow state.
