Now let's hear that digital sound :D

I'm going down this path now too, I didn't think it would ever happen.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

I've been there for some time now, albeit a much more modest budget than Danny's. Which path are you going down? Katana Artist?

Yep, once it turns up :-)

I still have the little Supro with tubes but that may get flicked on at some point.

Not going to lie - I’m extremely happy with my Helix.
Completely surprised with that to be honest. Sure, takes some time to learn how to get good tones due to not-so-great factory presets and the sheer amount of tweakable things but I’ve started getting some excellent tones for both guitar and bass.

Hey....I purchased one of your tube amps! Does that make me a double wanker?

Watch it son, some of us wankers know where you live.

HA! Line 6 are shockers for creating completely unusable presets, the HD series was the same, hey heres a clean fendery patch, oh by the way theres 3 modulated delays, a trem, a phaser, and a massive hall reverb on as well...

I must say after getting the AC4 I was feeling less inspired by the tone on the Katana, it does one thing but it just sounds great!! I figured out what was wrong tho'... too much fucking tweaking virtual knobs in the tone studio app and not enough fiddling with actual knobs... so now I've changed to using panel mode and dialled in a tone I like, ride the volume control on my guitar, extremely happy with the outcome!! Save it by holding down one of the channel buttons and bobs your uncle!

Anyway good job.

I could see myself with a kemper one day, but I'd get the rack mount version and get BG to make me a Marshall head shell to mount it and a power amp in the back of so no one knows
