Re: What small combo?
I may be looking to sell my Tweed deluxe (chassis built by Mike, cab by me, light relic and a Cannabis Rex in there) but way out of your budget. I'm going to need a cambelt change out of it
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Re: What small combo?
Nope. It's a 15w tube amp through a 12" speaker in a tiny cab. Buy a 2nd hand 50 or 100w tube combo they're cheap as chips atm because all the microbrew, organic coffee in a bamboo cup drinkers won't go near them. Clean tone for days at any volume you want. 5head facts. In fact they're so cheap you could buy an attenuator as well and you might get to the price of a below average sounding 15watter XD
It's ok dirty though. Or if your volume doesn't go anywhere near halfway it can sound alright clean

Hi BG. How many watts is it please? Could I play it clean with a band and not have it go into overdrive?Bg wrote:I may be looking to sell my Tweed deluxe (chassis built by Mike, cab by me, light relic and a Cannabis Rex in there) but way out of your budget. Opsguy had a 25 watt Rivera - you should see if he still has it - it will give you all the clean that you need.
Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.
Rivera Clubster 45, Carvin AG100D, Ashton BSK158.

My Mesa Boogie Subway Reverb Rocket was only $500 from TM and I love it. 20W.
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

Re: What small combo?
I was thinking about a 50w Fender or Mesa. Headroom. I have to play disco/funk so I need the cleans. But it sounds a great amp.Bg wrote:I may be looking to sell my Tweed deluxe (chassis built by Mike, cab by me, light relic and a Cannabis Rex in there) but way out of your budget. They are great, but not for what I do right now. I played GnR and Queen on one at a gig and it sounded like a Marshall.Bg wrote:no funk feel eh?
